                  Yuri Raskin

                  A mathematician by education, Yuri Raskin is a candidate of economic science. He has led the scientific production association INEX. In the 1990's he entered the business world to stay.

                  In 1997, he became a member of the Presidium of the Russian Jewish Congress (RJC) as a sponsor of charity programs and the head of the Nizhegorod branch of the RJC. In 2002-2004, he held the post of RJC Executive Vice-President. Yuri Raskin has been conferred with a number of awards for patronage and organization of charity activity in the Jewish community of Russia.

                  Yuri Konstantinovich became the EAJC Vice-President at the end of 2007. He has been given the task to lead the new comprehensive “Razvitie” (“Development”) project, the role of which is to support the EAJC programs.

                  It was under the leadership of Yuri Raskin that a new structural division of the Congress was created – the EAJC Director's Council, which unites businessmen interested in the implementation of EAJC programs and activity.

                  In June 2009, he was confirmed as Executive Vice-President of the EAJC.
