France paid tribute to the journalists, police officers and shoppers at a kosher supermarket in Paris killed two years ago by Islamist terrorists, the first of a wave of terror attacks that has left more than 230 dead and triggered a state of emergency.
CRIF, the representative body of French Jews, has denounced a comparison made by a presidential candidate, Vincent Peillon, between the Nazi persecution of Jews and the present situation of Muslims in France.
CRIF, the representative umbrella group of French Jewish institutions, said remarks made by Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman about the Jews of France ‘’are excessive and inaccurate historically.’’
‘’For as long as I am Prime Minister I want you to know that I will stand alongside you and passionately defend your right to practice your faith, free from question or fear,” British PM Theresa May said.
Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Yuriy Lytsenki, had already made a statement about the incident, where he said that he would personally take control of the investigation because it's important, ''and promised that everything would be alright.''
