The EAJC extends its congratulations on the occasion of Passover.

On Wednesday evening, the global Jewish community will gather for the Passover Seder to mark the Festival of Spring, Freedom, and the Exodus from Egypt. It is already evident that Passover 2020 will remain etched in our memories for a long time. 

We find ourselves in a challenging situation due to the restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the pandemic. Instead of the grand festive tables that traditionally bring family and friends together, many will observe the Seder in the most intimate family circle. It is vital to remember that we remain united as we break matzo and recite the Haggadah, recalling the ancient history of our people. Passover unites all Jews, wherever they may be, and this year, that bond is felt even more profoundly.

As many individuals face difficulties in securing traditional Passover products, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has made every effort to provide Jewish communities across the Euro-Asian region with all the necessary holiday essentials. 

The Seder offers a contemporary reflection on the ancient wisdom of the Torah and the Talmud. It serves as a cornerstone of Jewish identity and free creative spirit—a great Jewish holiday that imparts a profound sense of the unity of the Jewish people. This has always been, and will always remain, true.
