Supported by the EAJC, Hillel is launching free Hebrew courses in Moscow.

Starting August 25, the Hillel Jewish youth organization is launching Hebrew courses in Moscow. The course comprises six classes to be held every Sunday from 16:00 to 17:30 at the BUKVODOM cultural and educational space in Sokolniki Park. The lessons are free of charge and open to any applicant. The course is taught by Ilya Yuzefovich.

Held annually in public parks, this language program regularly attracts over a thousand participants.

Hebrew is an extraordinary language. Its alphabet represents one of the oldest known phonetic writing systems in human history, containing neither vowels nor capital letters. Built on rigorous logic, it is simultaneously an incredibly beautiful language. Proficiency in Hebrew is highly beneficial not only for traveling to Israel, but also for the academic study of religious history.

This complimentary Hebrew course has been made possible through the support of the Genesis Philanthropy Group and the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress.
