On the occasion of the anniversary of Viktoria Mochalova, Director of the Sefer Center, the "Victorian Collection" has been published with the support of the EAJC.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victoria Valentinovna Mochalova — philologist, specialist in Polish studies and Judeo-Christian relations in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, head of the Academic Board of the "Sefer" Center, and its founder and visionary — a unique academic publication, "The Victorian Collection," has been released with the support of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC).

The monograph brings together articles by leading Russian-speaking researchers from around the world, including Slavists, Hebraists, historians, and philologists. The scope of the collection reflects the broad spectrum of the honoree's academic interests: from mysticism in Yiddish poetry to "heresies," conspiratorial antisemitic theories, and the history of Jewish pogroms; from Russian-Jewish anthroponymy to folkloric imagery; and from Soviet rabbinic history to projects of Jewish autonomy. The volume features cover art by the artist and writer Pavel Pepperstein.
