
The 10th International Scientific and Practical Historical Conference, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of victory in World War II and the 25th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, will be held on September 23, 2020, in Almaty.
The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress acts as a co-organizer of the conference alongside the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the "Mitsva" Association of Legal Entities.
Held biennially since 2002, the International Scientific and Practical Historical Conference attracts prominent scholars from Central Asia, Belarus, Israel, Canada, Latvia, Russia, the USA, Ukraine, and other nations. Collection volumes containing conference papers have been published following each of the nine previous sessions.
Key topics of the 10th International Scientific and Practical Historical Conference include:
Evacuation and displacement during World War II (1939–1945) to Kazakhstan, other Central Asian countries, and Western Siberia (addressing the fates of refugees, evacuees, industrial facilities, and cultural institutions);
The history of Jewish communities in Central Asia and Western Siberia.

In-person presentation;
Poster presentation;
Pre-recorded video presentation;
Live online participation.
Submissions from non-attending contributors will be presented as poster reports and included in the conference proceedings.
No registration fee is required for participation in the conference.

There is no restriction on the number of submissions per author. Supplementary illustrations submitted as separate JPEG files are welcome. The organizers reserve the right to select and edit materials submitted for publication.
Formatting guidelines: Times New Roman, 14 pt, 1.5 line spacing, 2 cm margins. Citations within the text must be indicated in square brackets in order of appearance. The reference list must be provided at the end of the text.
Submissions must include author details: full name, academic degree, rank, title/position, affiliation, and contact information.
The working languages of the conference are Kazakh, Russian, and English.
