The leadership of the EAJC met with the Minister of Aliyah and Integration

Dr. Haim Ben Yakov, Director General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), and Menachem Bushuev, Treasurer of the Congress, held a working meeting with Israel's Minister of Aliyah and Integration, Ofir Sofer. During the discussion, the parties emphasized the importance of maintaining an uninterrupted repatriation process and providing maximum assistance to all immigrants arriving in the State of Israel, which remains the national home for Jews worldwide.

The Director General of the EAJC stressed that the proposals currently debated in Israeli society regarding amendments to the Law of Return could significantly impact both the relations between the Jewish diaspora and the State of Israel, as well as internal Jewish communal life. Consequently, it is crucial to establish a forum or platform to facilitate a broad dialogue between the leaders of diaspora Jewish organizations and the Government of the State of Israel.
