News

Dr. Mikhail Mirilashvili, President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), and Dr. Haim Ben Yakov, Director General of the EAJC, held a working meeting with Daulet Yemberdiyev, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Israel. The parties discussed the achievements and future prospects of cultural, scientific, and business relations between the two nations.

The President of the EAJC expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador in a personal letter:

Your Excellency,

Allow me to express my gratitude for your visit and for our highly productive meeting.

Over many years, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has maintained a special relationship with both the Jewish community of Kazakhstan and the leadership of the state.

We are deeply appreciative of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s commitment to supporting its Jewish community, fostering constructive interfaith dialogue based on mutual respect, and developing comprehensive relations with the State of Israel. Having a close personal acquaintance with the developments in Kazakhstan, I highly value the culture, mutual respect, and goodwill inherent to the Kazakh people.

Allow me once again to thank you for your readiness to cooperate and to wish you and your colleagues great success in your mission. I trust your work will continue to strengthen bilateral relations between our countries and peoples, both through public diplomacy and by advancing cultural, scientific, and business partnerships.
