The 27th Annual International Conference on Jewish Studies, organized by the Sefer Center, has officially commenced.

From July 11 to 13, the Sefer Center, with the support of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress and in cooperation with the Center for Slavic-Jewish Studies of the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is hosting the Twenty-Seventh International Conference on Jewish Studies. This year, the conference will be held in a new online format.

The conference has traditionally convened leading scholars and experts in the field of Jewish Studies. The program features panels representing traditional research areas: Biblical and Talmudic studies, Jewish thought, Jewish history across various periods, Judeo-Christian relations, the Holocaust, Israel studies, languages and literature, art, ethnology, demography, genealogy, museums and archives, among others. Multidisciplinary research proposals are highly encouraged.
