Finalists Announced for the Second Literary and Drama Competition 'Memory of the Nation'

The Organizing Committee of the Second All-Russian Holocaust Memorial Theater Competition "Memory of the Nation" has announced the finalists. They are:

"Give Me Five!" Children's Theater Studio of the State Art School No. 1 named after G.A. Korepanov (Izhevsk);

"Universum" Student Theater of the Rostov State Transport University (Rostov-on-Don);

"Feeriya" Theater Studio (Belgorod);

I.I. Polzunov Ural State College (Yekaterinburg);

"ShkVal" (School Valdgeym) (Jewish Autonomous Oblast).

A total of exactly 100 applications were received from dozens of Russian regions.

On April 16, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) will host the official closing and award ceremony. The finalist groups will perform their works in front of the audience and members of the jury. Winners across several categories will receive valuable awards.

Ceremony Hosts:

Vladi Blayberg, singer, TV presenter, and finalist of "The Voice" show;

Bella Valdberg, Director General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress in Russia.

Venue: Moscow, 76 Vernadskogo Prospekt, MGIMO University, Conference Hall.

Doors open at 16:00

Ceremony begins at 17:00

The competition is organized by the Public Youth Chamber (Youth Parliament) at the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, and the All-Russian Union of Jewish Students.

Partners of the competition: Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia (FEOR), Russian Peace Foundation, MGIMO University, National Institute for Development of Youth Self-Government and Parliamentarism, "Holocaust" Center and Foundation, and the Moscow Association of Jewish Former Ghetto and Nazi Concentration Camp Prisoners.
