The President of the EAJC Congratulated the Head of Kazakhstan on Republic Day

EAJC President Dr. Mikhail Mirilashvili has extended his congratulations to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on the occasion of Republic Day.

The congratulatory letter states in particular:

"For three decades, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has regarded Kazakhstan as a highly significant focus of our regional activities. Over these 30 years, the Jewish community of the Republic of Kazakhstan has achieved remarkable success in preserving Jewish tradition and culture. We are pleased to support the development of the Jewish community and are deeply grateful to the leadership of the Republic for supporting Jewish life and fostering dialogue between representatives of different religions and cultures.

A prominent manifestation of these efforts was the holding of the major VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, in which an EAJC delegation participated.

Allow me to once again express my gratitude for the excellent organization of the Congress and to congratulate you, Mr. President, and the entire nation of Kazakhstan, on Republic Day."
