The President of the EAJC has congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Israel

Dr. Mikhail Mirilashvili, President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, extended his congratulations to Ms. Feruza Makhmudova on her appointment as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Israel.

“Your Excellency, please accept my sincere congratulations on your appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Israel. Your assumption of office will undoubtedly provide a renewed impetus to our mutually beneficial dialogue and contribute significantly to strengthening and deepening the bilateral relations between our nations.

On this occasion, I would like to reaffirm the unwavering commitment of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress to promoting friendly dialogue between the Uzbek and Jewish peoples. I sincerely hope that our cooperation will continue to flourish, creating new constructive opportunities and bringing our communities closer together.”

As previously reported, the position of Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Israel had remained vacant since October 2019, while the diplomatic mission continued its operations.
