The President of the EAJC extends his congratulations to the President of Ukraine on Independence Day

The President of the EAJC, Dr. Mikhail Mirilashvili, has extended his congratulations to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.

In his congratulatory letter to the President of Ukraine, he noted in particular:

“Dear Mr. President, on behalf of the leadership of the EAJC, I would like to express our appreciation for your personal commitment to combating antisemitism and xenophobia. These and other forms of intolerance and hatred have no place in a modern democratic society, and preventing them is the duty of any civilized nation. The EAJC actively cooperates with the Jewish community of Ukraine. We cherish the centuries-long history of the Jewish people on Ukrainian soil, dedicate significant efforts to preserving and studying this history, supporting the development of communal life, and are sincerely pleased to provide comprehensive support to social and educational programs. We earnestly hope for the continued development of strong relations between Ukraine and Israel, and between the Jewish and Ukrainian peoples.
