Representatives from 35 nations have joined the global effort to combat antisemitism

Moscow, October 31. Yesterday, the "Protecting the Future" Conference concluded its work in Moscow. The conference was organized by the Russian Jewish Congress, with the participation of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress and the support of the Moscow Government, the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs, the World Jewish Congress, the Genesis Philanthropy Group, and Sberbank.

The moderators of the plenary sessions and specialized panels summarized the results of the two-day event. In their remarks, they outlined the substance and tone of the discussions, highlighted key contemporary trends, and identified the primary challenges in combating ethnic and religious intolerance. The presentations were diverse in nature. Scholars, educators, and public figures examined the issues of antisemitism and xenophobia from various perspectives, providing a comprehensive overview of today's complex world and its associated threats and challenges.

The Second Moscow International Conference on Combating Antisemitism, Xenophobia, and Racism "Protecting the Future" brought together representatives from 35 countries.

The conference concluded with the adoption of a Declaration. In this document, the participants appeal "to international organizations and governments worldwide to develop an effective system of measures to combat all manifestations of racial, ethnic, and religious intolerance."
