The EAJC General Assembly has reviewed the results of its operations for the year 2025 and elected a new governing body.

The General Assembly of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) reviewed the organization's activities for 2025, outlined key directions for its future development, expanded the Congress's membership, and elected new governing bodies.

The Assembly was attended by representatives of Jewish communities and organizations from Israel and member states of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress. The forum reaffirmed the EAJC's status as a leading international Jewish organization, uniting Eurasian communities and fostering cooperation in public diplomacy, education, the preservation of Jewish heritage, and community support.

The Assembly was opened by EAJC President Michael Mirilashvili and EAJC Chairman of the Board Aaron G. Frenkel. The review of the Congress's activities for 2025 was presented to the participants. The financial and annual reports were unanimously approved.

A key resolution of the Assembly was the expansion of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress through the admission of new members, reflecting the organization's growing prestige and the strengthening of its international representation.

Particular emphasis was placed on the strategic development of the Congress. Michael Mirilashvili was unanimously re-elected as President of the EAJC, and Aaron G. Frenkel was re-elected as Chairman of the Board. The newly reconstituted Board brings together representatives of Jewish communities and organizations from various countries, reaffirming the Congress's commitment to broad international partnership and the consolidation of Jewish communities across the Eurasian region. New representatives joined the leadership, including Boris Mirkin, elected as EAJC Vice President, and David Iakobachvili, elected as First Vice President of the Congress.

Crucial outcomes of the session included decisions aimed at strengthening the role of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress within the system of international Jewish organizations. The EAJC Board recommended the candidacy of David Iakobachvili for the position of Deputy Chairman of the World Jewish Congress, and Vadim Shulman as the EAJC representative to the Policy Committee of the World Jewish Congress. These decisions reflect the Congress's drive for more active participation in shaping the global Jewish agenda and strengthening cooperation with the World Jewish Congress.

Addressing the Assembly, EAJC President Michael Mirilashvili stated:
