The Monument to the Survivors of the Siege of Leningrad Erected in Jerusalem

A monument dedicated to the survivors of the Siege of Leningrad and veterans of the Second World War has been unveiled in Jerusalem. The initiative was spearheaded by the Committee for External Relations of the Government of Saint Petersburg, in cooperation with the Coordinating Council of Russian-Speaking Compatriots in Israel, the Union of World War II Veterans, and the Association of Leningrad Siege Survivors in Israel. The creation of the monument was funded and supported by the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress.
