The Reconstruction of the Birobidzhan Synagogue

The project aims to reconstruct the old Birobidzhan synagogue of the "Beit Tshuva" community to align it with religious canons. Additionally, it will establish an exhibition within the synagogue premises dedicated to the history of the Jewish community and Jewish migration to the Jewish Autonomous Oblast.

The goal of this international project, involving representatives from Russia and Israel, is to preserve a center of Jewish culture, spiritual life, and historical memory of the region's first settlers.

The project is implemented in partnership with the Public Organization of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast — "Federation of Jewish Organizations".
