This monograph provides a sociocultural portrait and personal accounts of Ukrainian Jews and their families who, as a result of Russian aggression, have repatriated to Israel, emigrated to Europe (primarily Germany), or become internally displaced persons within Ukraine. It addresses the first phenomenon of Jewish refugees in Europe since World War II and the establishment of the State of Israel.
