The Israel–Russia 2017 Business Initiatives Forum

The annual business forum of business initiatives "Israel – Russia 2017" took place in Moscow as part of the 14th meeting of the Mixed Russian-Israeli Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. The meeting was headed by co-chairs Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and Minister of Environmental Protection, Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage Ze'ev Elkin. Additionally, Chaim Ben-Yakov, Acting Director General of the Eurasian Jewish Congress (EAJC), participated in the Forum's proceedings.

The Forum was organized by the Israel-Russia Business Council, led by Temur Khikhinashvili (Ben-Yehuda), First Vice-President of the EAJC, with the support of the Embassy of the State of Israel in the Russian Federation.

The business forum addressed the prospects of cooperation between the State of Israel and the Russian Federation, current joint projects, and the establishment of direct partnerships between companies aimed at strengthening business collaboration.
