Survivors of the Siege share memories on the 77th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad (video)

Today, on January 27, the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we recall the horrors of one of the most devastating conflicts in human history.

On this day in 1945, the Auschwitz death camp was liberated.

Exactly one year prior, the siege of Leningrad was finally lifted.

Lasting nearly 900 days, the siege of Leningrad remains one of the most brutal and tragic chapters of the Second World War.

EAJC remains committed to supporting the initiatives of the Association of Leningrad Siege Survivors in Israel to preserve and honor the memory of the Siege.
