The EAJC has presented its published books to the National Library of Israel.

Dr. Haim Ben Yakov, Director General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), met with Sallai Meridor, Chairman of the Board of the National Library of Israel in Jerusalem, to present a collection of books published by the Congress in recent years.

Sallai Meridor expressed his gratitude to the EAJC for donating these significant publications to the library and emphasized the importance of continuously enriching the library's collection with multilingual materials, including works in Russian.

The donated collection features major research studies on Jewish identity and antisemitism in the post-Soviet space, memoirs of the Siege of Leningrad, a collection of feuilletons by Ze'ev Jabotinsky, a volume of poetry by Chaim Nachman Bialik, among other literary works.

The National Library, which relocated to its new facility during the war, continues to serve as the premier repository safeguarding the written heritage of the Jewish people.

The Director General of the EAJC calls upon Jewish communities to contribute books documenting Jewish community life for integration into the National Library's permanent collection.

The donated collection includes:

• "Jewish Identity in the Former USSR: Current State and Challenges" (Prof. Ze'ev Khanin, Dr. Velvl Chernin)

• "Pages of Siege Memory" (2 volumes)

• "Antisemitism, Tolerance, and Historical Memory in the Post-Soviet Space" (multiple authors)

• "The Jews of Azerbaijan and the Mountain Jewish Diaspora" (Prof. Valeriy Dymshits)

• A reprint of Ze'ev Jabotinsky's feuilletons featuring a foreword by the President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin

• "Between the Lines" (David Markish) — in Hebrew

• "Notes from a Bygone Era" (David Markish)

• "Songs and Poems" (Chaim Nachman Bialik)

• EAJC Yearbooks (2019-2024)

• "From the Crimean Notebooks" (Dr. Velvl Chernin)
