The EAJC supports the development of business relations between Israel and the countries of the Euro-Asian region

“The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress considers business relations between the State of Israel and the countries of the Euro-Asian region to be a key element of public diplomacy. We therefore actively facilitate the establishment and development of mutually beneficial ties and productive agreements among the region's business community,” stated Dr. Haim Ben Yakov, Director General of the EAJC, at the “Russia-Israel” Business Dialogue held in Jerusalem under the auspices of the Israel-Russia Business Council.

The event was also attended by Minister Ze'ev Elkin, Co-Chairman of the Russian-Israeli Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation; Azer Mutalim ogly Talybov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation; Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg; Temur Khikhinashvili (Ben Yehuda), First Vice-President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress and Chairman of the Israel-Russia Business Council; alongside other prominent members of the business community.

“We view economic cooperation as a vital link in Russian-Israeli relations. Strengthening this cooperation at the highest level, with the active participation of governmental entities and the business sector, is essential to guaranteeing a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership between our two nations,” stated Temur Khikhinashvili, First Vice-President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress and Chairman of the Israel-Russia Business Council.

The Israel-Russia Business Council is a non-governmental organization established to facilitate business contacts among leading representatives of Israeli and Russian commercial entities and to strengthen trade and economic relations between the State of Israel and the Russian Federation.
