The EAJC wishes Aleksandr Bilinkis a very happy birthday

The leadership of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress congratulates EAJC Vice-President and Head of the Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova, Alexander Bilinkis, on his birthday.

In a special statement on behalf of the Congress leadership, EAJC President Dr. Michael Mirilashvili highlighted Alexander Bilinkis's contribution to the rescue and evacuation of Jewish refugees from Ukraine. Dr. Mirilashvili noted that this effort serves as "an exemplary model of dedication and leadership, providing inspiration to us all."

"As a renowned principle of our tradition states: 'Whoever saves one life saves the entire world.' Today, this truth is of paramount importance. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for your commitment to this sacred principle. By aiding the defenseless, we bring peace closer.
