The EAJC congratulates Dani Dayan on his appointment as Chairman of Yad Vashem

EAJC President Mikhael Mirilashvili congratulated Dani Dayan on his appointment as Chairman of Yad Vashem:

"On behalf of all the leaders of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, please accept my congratulations on your appointment as Chairman of the Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Center.

In the face of rising antisemitism and attempts to distort historical truth worldwide, it is of paramount importance to continue research, preserve the memory of the Holocaust, and actively engage in educational efforts in this field. Yad Vashem has successfully fulfilled these tasks for many years, and it will undoubtedly continue this vital mission under your leadership.

It is a great honor for the EAJC to participate in the activities of Yad Vashem and to support the work of the Moshe Mirilashvili Center for Research on the Holocaust in the Soviet Union. We look forward to continuing our close academic cooperation in historical research and Holocaust remembrance."
