The EAJC extends its congratulations on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah

Dear Friends,

We welcome the coming year in a period of new trials and hopes. The world continues to live in turbulent times, marked by wars, crises, and challenges that affect every nation and every family. Once again, the Jewish people are passing through one of the critical turning points in their modern history.

The past year was filled with events that shocked and wounded us, yet highlighted the greatness of our people's inner strength. We have seen once again that even in the most difficult days, we are capable of rallying together, supporting one another, and strengthening our unity.

Grief for the victims and anxiety for the future are joined by prayer and hope. We witness communities in Israel and across the globe demonstrating remarkable solidarity and cohesion, where mutual support becomes a source of shared strength.

It is no coincidence that the theme of unity resonates so frequently in our prayers. This is not merely a slogan, but a vital necessity, without which it is impossible to overcome either external threats or internal doubts.

Today, as we enter the new year, we remind ourselves once more: unity is not an abstract concept, but our guiding principle. It is expressed in our mutual care, in our capacity to stand together in joy and in sorrow, and in our readiness to offer warmth and support.

May our collective prayers and shared pursuit of cohesion this year serve as the foundation of a future in which we, as a nation, find the strength to overcome adversity, build hope, and secure peace.
