On February 24, military operations commenced on the territory of Ukraine.

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress calls upon the parties to engage in immediate negotiations and de-escalate the conflict. The ideals of peace and the sanctity of human life remain paramount to our people.

Regrettably, the hostilities have already resulted in casualties. We cannot remain indifferent to these developments and stand ready to facilitate the commencement of a negotiation process to the greatest extent possible. The EAJC leadership, comprising patriots of their respective nations who possess an in-depth understanding of the regional context and key political figures, cannot stand aside in this critical situation.

Many of us were born in Russia or Ukraine, where our relatives, friends, and partners currently reside. The voice of conscience urges us to take all necessary active measures to stabilize the situation.

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress provides vital updates for Israeli citizens in the conflict zone regarding the operations of the Israeli Embassy and consular services.

Below is the list of border checkpoints where Israeli Embassy staff are deployed in Ukraine to facilitate the evacuation of Israeli citizens:

The Jewish Agency and the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews Establish an Emergency Help Center for Ukrainian Jews

In response to the current security situation, the Jewish Agency and the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews are launching an Emergency Help Center. Ukrainian Jews can access guidance and information regarding Aliyah, as well as assistance program details for members of the Ukrainian Jewish community.

To support community members across Ukraine and their relatives in Israel, the Emergency Help Center hotlines will operate in Hebrew, Ukrainian, and Russian.
