Among those who perished during the initial days of the war launched by Hamas terrorists against the State of Israel was Yuval Ben Yaakov, the son of the EAJC Director General.
We are profoundly shocked by this news. On behalf of the leadership and the entire staff of the Congress, EAJC President Mikhael Mirilashvili extends his deepest condolences to Dr. Haim Ben Yaakov and his family. No tragedy is greater than the loss of a child, and our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Yuval fell heroically while serving in the Israel Defense Forces, defending the Jewish state against enemy aggression.
