The Director General of the EAJC Met with the Mayor of Chisinau

Dr. Haim Ben Yakov, Director General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), held a working meeting with Ion Ceban, Mayor of Chisinau. During the meeting, the parties discussed joint efforts between the Congress and municipal authorities to prepare for events aimed at preserving the memory of Holocaust victims, combating antisemitism, and cooperating with the Jewish community of Moldova on a range of memorial and educational initiatives. In particular, the sides discussed upcoming commemorative events in the country marking the 120th anniversary of the Chisinau pogrom.
