The Director General of the EAJC Met with the Participants of the Momentum Women's Project

Dr. Haim Ben Yakov, Director General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), met in Tel Aviv with participants of Momentum, an international initiative uniting Jewish women worldwide.

During the meeting, Dr. Ben Yakov discussed the current situation in Israel amidst the conflict with the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip and broader regional tensions. The Director General of the EAJC addressed how Israeli society has coped with the severe consequences of the October 7, 2023 attacks, and highlighted the dramatic global rise in antisemitism since the onset of the war.

The Momentum project assists Jewish women of various ages, backgrounds, and levels of observance from diverse global communities in connecting with Jewish values and strengthening their bond with Israel. Notably, Jewish women from different countries, including the Russian Federation and Ukraine, participate in the program on an equal footing.
