The EAJC leadership has assisted Afghan citizens in securing asylum.

A group of 40 Afghan citizens has been successfully granted asylum in several countries worldwide. The matter was resolved through the cooperation of government officials from multiple nations and the international humanitarian aid agency IsraAID, which assists the world's most vulnerable populations. Aaron G. Frenkel, Chairman of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Board, and Alexander Mashkevich, Honorary President of the EAJC, also contributed significantly to facilitating this process.

"In times of profound global challenges, such as those currently faced by the people of Afghanistan, we, as the Jewish people, cannot remain indifferent. If it is within our power to assist those affected, we consider it our duty to intervene. We are pleased that these 40 individuals have regained hope for a new life," commented Aaron G. Frenkel, Chairman of the EAJC Board.
