On the eve of Passover, EAJC leaders met with international diplomats and Jewish community leaders

Ahead of the Passover holiday, Dr. Haim Ben Yakov, Director General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), attended a special meeting with heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Israel and leaders of Jewish public diplomacy organizations.

The event, held in Tel Aviv, focused on the key challenges in international relations currently facing Israel and Jewish communities worldwide. The discussion centered on the impact of the ongoing Middle East crisis, which has persisted for over eighteen months, escalating global polarization, and the humanitarian crisis regarding the hostages still held in the Gaza Strip.

In his remarks, Dr. Ben Yakov emphasized:
“At a time when Israel is paying a heavy price to defend its citizens and sovereignty, our objective is not merely to explain the situation to the world, but to speak in a language that fosters connection—one of respect, dignity, and truth. Gatherings of this nature establish the critical foundation required for mutual understanding and strategic cooperation.”

The EAJC remains committed to strengthening international relations and advocating for the interests of Jewish communities across the Euro-Asian region, while consistently supporting Israel's diplomatic efforts globally.
