
An official groundbreaking ceremony for a new multifunctional Jewish center has taken place in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, Mikhail Mirilashvili, Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki, the President of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, Gennady Bogolyubov, the President of the Shiurei Torah Lubavitch Foundation, Natan (Arthur) Zolotarevsky, and the Chief Sephardic Rabbi of Israel, Yitzhak Yosef.
The new complex will constitute an entire Jewish quarter, functioning as a city within a city. The nine-story building will accommodate educational, administrative, and residential facilities, as well as a prayer hall.
The total area of the center will span 12,000 square meters, with residential apartments being allocated for the use of disadvantaged families.
