Michael Mirilashvili Has Been Elected as the New President of the EAJC

Delegates of the Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), currently convening in Ramat Gan, Israel, have elected the prominent entrepreneur and philanthropist Mikhail Mirilashvili as President of the Congress.

Born on May 1, 1960, in the village of Kulashi, Georgia.

Graduated from the Leningrad Pediatric Institute in 1983.

Active in business and entrepreneurship since the late 1980s.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Petromir Holding, President of the Conti Corporation.

Areas of activity include pharmaceuticals, medicine, construction, real estate, industrial manufacturing, emerging technologies, the entertainment industry, and the restaurant and hospitality sectors.

Prominent public figure and philanthropist.

For many years served as President of the Maccabi Union of Societies for Jewish Aesthetics and Physical Culture of St. Petersburg, Russia, the CIS, and the Baltic States, as well as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the international Jewish voluntary rescue organization ZAKA.

Recipient of numerous awards for charitable activities.

Previously served as Acting President, First Vice-President, and Vice-President of the EAJC.
