A panel discussion titled "Russia-Israel Dialogue" was held at the International Economic Forum.

From May 24 to May 26, Russia hosted the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, an annual Russian business event in the economic sector held in St. Petersburg with the participation of 14,000 guests from over 120 countries. The forum’s primary audience consists of executives from leading Russian and foreign corporations, heads of state, political leaders, prime ministers, deputy prime ministers, ministers, and governors.

On May 24, a round table discussion entitled "Dialogue: Russia-Israel" was held on the sidelines of the Forum. Organized by the Israeli-Russian Business Council (IRBC), the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), and the Embassy of Israel in Russia, the event brought together representatives from academic circles, public organizations, and Russian Jewish communities. The discussion featured Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, Israeli Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Environmental Protection Ze'ev Elkin, Israeli Ambassador to Moscow Gary Koren, Chairman of the EAJC Board Aaron Frenkel, First Vice-President of the EAJC Temur Hizhiashvili (Ben-Yehuda), EAJC Director General Dr. Haim Ben-Yakov, and others.

Dr. Haim Ben-Yakov stated: "Russian-Israeli relations, established a mere 25 years ago, are developing dynamically, having come a long way. This achievement is credited not only to diplomats and politicians, but also to representatives of the business community who make a substantial contribution. Public organizations strive to establish platforms for dialogue where initiatives can be discussed, fostering an environment of mutual trust and respect, which is indispensable for further development."

Additionally, several cooperation agreements were signed during the event, including a partnership agreement between the IRBC and the EAJC, signed by the Chairman of the EAJC Board, Aaron Frenkel, and the Chairman of the Israeli-Russian Business Council, Temur Hizhiashvili (Ben-Yehuda). The leaders of both organizations expressed their intent to establish a program of joint initiatives.
