The “Or la-Mishpacha” organization has awarded academic scholarships to the bereaved siblings of soldiers fallen in the “Swords of Iron” war.

Tel Aviv hosted an award ceremony presenting hundreds of student scholarships to the siblings of those who perished in the 'Swords of Iron' war, which began on October 7, 2023, following the heinous attack of the Hamas terrorist organization on Israel. The event was organized by the non-profit charitable association 'Or la-Mishpacha'. Its President, the Chairman of the Board of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Aaron G. Frenkel, attended the ceremony and personally presented commemorative certificates to the scholarship recipients.
The activities of 'Or la-Mishpacha' are carried out with the support of the EAJC.
A total of 224 young Israeli citizens received assistance from the organization. The attendees paid tribute to the memory of the fallen heroes of the Israel Defense Forces, security agencies, and emergency services, who lost their lives protecting the nation, as well as the innocent victims who perished at the hands of terrorists from Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
The ceremony was attended by prominent public and state figures, including former Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett, singer Hanan Ben Ari, among others.
