On May 23, a draft resolution regarding the relocation of the Ukrainian Embassy in the State of Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem was registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
The resolution was initiated by nearly 70 members of parliament, representing virtually all factions within the Ukrainian legislature. Among them are Vadim Rabinovich, Borislav Bereza, Yuriy Bereza, Oleksandr Brygynets, Anton Gerashchenko, Oleksiy Goncharenko, Oleksandr Granovsky, Mykhailo Dobkin, Ihor Lutsenko, Georgiy Logvynsky, Serhiy Kaplin, Mykola Knyazhytsky, Boryslav Rosenblatt, Oleksandr Feldman, and others.
The EAJC expresses confidence that such a friendly step as the relocation of the embassy to Jerusalem will serve to strengthen relations between the two nations and their peoples across all areas of cooperation. The EAJC hopes that the Verkhovna Rada will consider this parliamentary initiative in the near future and adopt a favorable decision on the matter.
