Congratulatory Address to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the EAJC

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress extends its congratulations to the elected President of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, on his decisive victory in the presidential elections!

On April 29, 2019, a delegation of EAJC leaders led by M.M. Mirilashvili had the honor of meeting with Mr. Tokayev during their visit to Kazakhstan.

On June 12, at the Palace of Independence in Nur-Sultan, the Head of the Jewish Community of Kazakhstan and EAJC Representative in Central Asia, Alexander Baron, attended the inauguration ceremony of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the First President of Kazakhstan — Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, members of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Government, judges of the Supreme Court, members of the Constitutional Council, representatives of the Presidential Administration, and many other high-ranking officials. A total of 2,500 people attended the ceremony.

In the person of Mr. Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, we have found a reliable partner for the preservation and development of Jewish life in Kazakhstan. We are confident that his decisive victory will ensure the continuity of Kazakhstan's impressive development path, through which the country rightfully stands as one of the key nations in the region. There is no doubt that the Jewish community of Kazakhstan will continue to play an important role in the country's public life.
