Aaron G. Frenkel, Chairman of the Board of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, attended the Balkan Forum Against Antisemitism. In his address, Mr. Frenkel commended the Albanian government and parliament for their resolution to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism, stating: “On behalf of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, I wish to convey that you have made the right and highly moral decision. As always, you have taken a noble step for the sake of humanity and justice, for which we express our profound gratitude.”

The Chairman of the EAJC Board emphasized that combating antisemitism remains one of the primary missions of the Congress. He stated that the EAJC continuously monitors antisemitic incidents, provides support to individuals targeted by antisemitic attacks, and actively engages in public diplomacy.

“I firmly believe in the necessity of setting a moral example. The core principle I personally advocate is the cultivation and strengthening of relations with community and state leaders. Through leadership and proactive engagement, we establish a robust counter-movement to hate crimes, antisemitism, and all forms of intolerance worldwide,” concluded Aaron G. Frenkel.
