The President of the EAJC addressed an official letter to the 10th President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin

EAJC President Dr. Michael Mirilashvili addressed a personal letter to the 10th President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin, who concluded his term in office yesterday.

"Dear Mr. Rivlin. On behalf of the communities and leaders of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your dedicated service to the Jewish people and the State of Israel, particularly for strengthening the bond between Diaspora Jewry and the Jewish state.

Over many years, you have striven to foster unity and forge a new alliance between Israel and the Diaspora, achieving significant success in this vital endeavor. Several years ago, you referred to Diaspora Jews as the 'fifth tribe,' reiterating the unbreakable bond between Jews in the Diaspora and those in Israel. 

We are also deeply grateful for your warm attention to the endeavors of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress. We are honored that you authored the foreword to our publication of Ze'ev Jabotinsky's Feuilletons. We look forward to our continued cooperation in the future and wish you every success in your forthcoming endeavors."
