The EAJC President congratulated composer Josef Bardanashvili on his 75th birthday

Dr. Mikhail Mirilashvili, President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), has extended his congratulations to the distinguished Israeli composer and educator, Josef Bardanashvili, on the occasion of his 75th birthday.

In a formal congratulatory telegram to Bardanashvili, the EAJC President highlighted the composer’s unparalleled contribution to the development of Israeli symphonic, chamber, and choral music, as well as to ballet, theatrical, and operatic performances, for which Bardanashvili has created extraordinary compositions. The Congress President wished the composer many more highly productive years and expressed profound gratitude for his service to the State of Israel.

To mark Josef Bardanashvili's 75th anniversary, a special concert will take place on Sunday, June 23, at the concert hall of Tel Aviv University, where the maestro is current faculty. The event commences at 19:00. Admission is free.
