The President of the EAJC offered his congratulations to the President and Prime Minister of Georgia on the occasion of Independence Day

EAJC President Dr. Michael Mirilashvili extended his congratulations to the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, and the Prime Ministers of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, on the occasion of Independence Day.

The congratulatory letter addressed to the President of Georgia states, in particular:

“Dear Madam President, please accept my sincere congratulations on Georgia's Independence Day, along with my wishes for the prosperity of my homeland and the well-being of its wonderful people.

I have always been deeply impressed by the rich history of the Georgian people, and especially by the fact that Georgia has served as a true home for Georgian Jews for over 26 centuries. As a modern independent state, Georgia has made remarkable progress. There is no doubt that the Georgian people, living freely in their sovereign nation, can confidently look to the future and continue their path of development.
