The International Conference on Israel Studies is being held with the support of the EAJC.

On October 19–20, the Department for Israel and Jewish Community Studies of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IOS RAS), with the support of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, in partnership with the Embassy of the State of Israel in Russia and the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), is hosting the 1st IOS RAS Conference on Israel Studies – The A.E. Bovin Readings: "Contours of Transformation in Israeli Politics, Diplomacy, and Society."

The conference aims to establish a platform for cross-disciplinary research into Israeli history, politics, economics, diplomacy, and society, bringing together leading Russian and international experts in Oriental studies, political science, economics, and other fields.

Opening remarks were delivered by Alexander Ben Zvi, Ambassador of Israel to Russia, and Anatoly Viktorov, Ambassador of Russia to Israel. During the session on Russian-Israeli relations, EAJC Director General Dr. Haim Ben Yakov addressed the audience.
