The premiere of the musical project "7.10" was held with the support of the EAJC

The Jewish Heritage Center at Tel Aviv University hosted the premiere of the "7.10" music project, dedicated to the memory of the victims and casualties of the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, and urging the immediate return of all hostages. 

The project was implemented with the support of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress. 

The song "7.10" was conceived amidst the tragic events in Israel on October 7, 2023. Created by musician and composer Helena Gaon, who initiated the project, it features a collaborative effort by native Israelis and Olim who arrived in the country at various times from different nations. Consequently, the song is performed in English, French, Hebrew, Russian, and Ukrainian. The video features the Israeli choir "Kol Or", the bands FromScratch and Frisson Trio. Soloists include Tal Sofer, Veronique Shimoni, Maria Brushnitskaya, and other performers.

The director of the "7.10" project, Maxim Kolyshev, also served as director of photography, editor, and video producer. The video was filmed near Kibbutz Re'im, the site of the Nova music festival, where 364 people were murdered on October 7. 

The EAJC joins the creators of the project in their statement: we share this tragedy, we mourn, we remember, and we hope for the swift return of all hostages.
