Moscow Students Meet with Israeli Representatives in the Russian Federation

Students and faculty members of Moscow universities met with Yacov Livne, the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of Israel to Russia, and Yana Agmon, Counselor of the Embassy of Israel and Head of the "Nativ" representation in Russia, the Republic of Belarus, and the Baltic states.

"It has become a fine tradition at MGIMO for Israeli ambassadors and diplomats to visit the university and engage with our students and faculty," stated Vladimir Morozov, Vice-Rector for Human Resources at MGIMO. Shota Mirilashvili, President of the Russian Union of Jewish Students (RUJS), also welcomed the attendees.

Yacov Livne, the Israeli Chargé d'Affaires in the Russian Federation, spoke on the development of Russian-Israeli relations, while Yana Agmon, Head of the "Nativ" representative office, invited the young audience to study Hebrew at the "Nativ" Israeli Cultural Centers.

The meeting was organized by the Russian Union of Jewish Students and the MGIMO Israeli Students' Association, with the support of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, the MGIMO Department of Student and Alumni Affairs, and the MGIMO Council of Earth Societies.
