The Seventh Global Forum for Combating Antisemitism is currently underway in Jerusalem

From July 13 to 15, the 7th Global Forum for Combating Antisemitism, organized by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is being held in Jerusalem. The Forum will convene numerous distinguished guests, political and public figures, leaders of international organizations, academics, and experts from around the world. Among the honored guests of the Forum are the President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Alternate Prime Minister of Israel Yair Lapid, Minister of Diaspora Affairs Dr. Nachman Shai, President of the World Jewish Congress Ronald Lauder, and others.

During a special session scheduled for Thursday, Dr. Haim Ben Yakov, Director General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, will present a report on the state of antisemitism in the Euro-Asian region. It is anticipated that the Forum will yield a concrete action plan for the international community and Jewish organizations to combat antisemitism.

"The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress actively opposes acts of antisemitism, speaking out against any condoning of antisemitic sentiments and urging state leaders to combat manifestations of hatred and acts of violence against Jewish people. We wish all Forum participants a highly productive session and look forward to the formulation of a plan of active steps to counter this dangerous phenomenon, which poses a threat not only to Jewish communities and organizations but to civil society globally," stated EAJC President Dr. Mikhail Mirilashvili.
