EAJC Statement on the Situation in Israel

The territory of the State of Israel is under attack. In cities across the south and center of the country, residents remain in bomb shelters; hundreds of civilians have been wounded, and several lives have been lost.

As a sovereign state, Israel has both the right and the obligation to take all necessary measures, including special military operations, to protect its population and territorial integrity. Any attempts to undermine the stability of the Jewish state and harm its citizens must be condemned without delay.

EAJC President M.M. Mirilashvili has called for a unified effort to influence the position of global leaders regarding the current escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, to strongly condemn the actions of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, and to demand that they immediately cease the rocket fire on Israeli cities and inciting activities among Israel's Arab population. The EAJC President also expressed gratitude to the heads of Jewish organizations and state leaders for their support of Israel during this time.
