On September 9, 2020, the tenth President of the State of Israel, Reuven “Ruvi” Rivlin, turned 81 years old. President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Michael Mirilashvili congratulated him on this significant date.

“On this special occasion, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for your help in strengthening ties between the State of Israel and the Jews of the Diaspora.

Several years ago, Mr. President, you rightly noted the weakening of bridges between Israel and the Jewish diaspora and immediately began to act to restore the cooperation and ties between them, and we, the leaders of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, are immensely grateful to you for your work”,- wrote the EAJC President in his congratulatory letter.

Mirilashvili stressed that President Rivlin is an example and a role model and wished him good health, longevity and many years of productive work for the good of the country.
