For fifteen years the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress provided matzah for the needy members of the Jewish communities of the post-Soviet countries and provided financial assistance to the Jewish communities of the EAJC of Eastern Europe.
It is said in the Torah: “In the evening, eat matzah” (Shemot 12:18). Thanks to the EAJC, the Jews of Eurasia were given the opportunity to fulfill this commandment! The implementation of this program is a complex process: matzo needs not only to produce, perhaps, this is the simplest. Solving logistical issues is often much more difficult.
This year, hundreds of kilograms of matzah will be sent to the communities of Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
