Supporting the Limmud Educational Project

Limmud is the premier and unique Jewish educational, cultural, and recreational event designed for everyone, offering an active, intensive, and highly engaging learning experience. Limmud conferences are based on a unique model, featuring seminars, lectures, workshops, and discussions covering a wide array of topics: from the history of Jewish communities worldwide to Israeli politics, religious debates, rock concerts, theater performances, and Jewish spirituality, philosophy, and cuisine. Science, art, technology, and other relevant and compelling subjects are also prominently featured.

In 2017, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress supported Limmud festivals in three countries, with events held in Odesa, St. Petersburg, and Eilat. The EAJC continued its support for the festivals in 2018 and 2019.

Aaron Frenkel, Chairman of the EAJC Governing Board and President of Limmud FSU, stated: "The wonderful concept of Limmud attracts many Jewish people. The project's inherent spirit of learning and innovation unites Jews worldwide."

EAJC President Michael Mirilashvili remarked: "Limmud is an outstanding project wherein diverse individuals share their distinctive experiences, unique knowledge, and worldviews. For a decade, the Russian-language Limmud FSU has rightfully stood as one of the most successful projects in the Jewish world."
